Semper Fi Fund Kids Camp - Registration Deadline - Boswell, PA

The Semper Fi Fund Kids Camp provides a unique experience for the children ages 8 to 14 of our wounded, critically ill and injured service members. The East Coast Region Semper Fi Fund Kids Camp will take place July 16-22 at Outdoor Odyssey in Boswell, PA. Charter buses will transport the campers and mentors to Boswell from the Quantico area. The Kids Camp experience helps touch the lives of our military children in a positive, powerful way. The child of an injured service member must handle challenges and adversities that someone their age should not have to face alone. The folks of the Semper Fi Fund hopes to alleviate this stress by matching up these children with a positive, motivated high school student who has the shared experience of growing up with a military parent. Together they will not only build confidence through activities such as conquering a climbing wall, but also develop tools to be successful in school and life. The SFF Kids Camp leadership and coping principles and philosophies are woven through every activity, giving campers helpful, real-life takeaways to use when they return home.
