10th Annual Teen Safe Driving Camp - Forsyth, GA

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the dates of the 2017 Teen Driving Camp at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth. The one day camp will teach new drivers about the consequences of distracted driving, the dangers of driving while impaired, tips for defensive driving, skid recovery techniques, and demonstrate important vehicle maintenance practices. This event is held for anyone between the ages of 15 to 17. You do not have to be from Monroe County to apply. Deadline for the applications is Friday, July 14, 2017 by 4:00 pm. Cost to apply is $10.00. Space is limited to 130 participates. Applications can be picked up from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office during normal business hours.
