GRT's Summer Youth Theatre Camp will present Disney's The Lion King as a culmination of a week long camp. June 12-16, 2017 Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (grades 3 - 5) 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (grades 6 - 12) Camp at The Perry - 521 Elm Street Performances at Graham Memorial Auditorium, 628 3rd Street Graham, TX 76450 Tickets for Lion King, Jr. are only $5 and will be available for purchase beginning June 5th. Included in the cost of camp is: Theatre, vocal, and movement instruction by theatre professionals and GRT veteran performers. Camp t-shirt Script for Lion King, Jr. Costuming for Lion King, Jr. 2 comp tickets for either performance of Lion King, Jr. Ages: Completed 2nd - 12th grades Camp Dates: June 12 - 16, 2017 Auditions: Sunday, June 4, 2017 @ 2 pm - Any camper interested in a leading role should come prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical theatre song. Due to licensing restrictions, onstage roles are only available to campers who have completed grades 2 - 9. Campers who have completed grades 10-12 will be appearing in GRT's production of The Little Mermaid and should audition on Sunday, April 30th at 5 pm OR Monday, May 1st at 6 pm. Campers in grades 10-12 will be learning about the behind-the-scenes of musical production including lighting, sets, costumes, props, and choreography. They will be running crew for the Friday and Saturday evening performances of Lion King, Jr. Showtimes: Friday, June 16th - 7 pm & Saturday, June 17th - 7 pm Cost: $125 - Register and pay by Saturday, April 1st for discounted rate of $100
