No refunds if accepted to camp. The Gulf Coast Gem and Mineral Society presents the 7th annual summer program for kids ages 10-17. You will learn about rocks, minerals, fossils, gems and start your own collection with at least 30 specimens. Included are projects, printed materials, T-shirt, demonstrations, and the use of lapidary equipment. Camp activities will allow you to earn badges in: • Collecting • Stone Age Tools & Art • Identification of Rocks & Minerals • Fossils • Lapidary Arts • Earth Processes • Fluorescence • Gemstone Lore & Legend • Careers in Earth Science Bring a sack lunch.
