The YOU(th) Factor - Graford, TX

The You(th) Factor is the first Muslim leadership retreat in the DFW area. The weekend will be full of outdoor activities, lectures from high profile speakers, and engaging workshops. By the end of the experience, campers will have developed leadership skills, advocacy skills, and learned more about how to be involved in their community and government. Youth between the ages of 13-18 are encouraged to attend! We are also looking for group-leaders of college age or older. Specific skills and lessons the campers will learn include: --advocacy skills --training in self-defense and community safety --how to communicate with community leaders and representatives --tools to create and run organizations --develop relationships with other Muslim youth in DFW Food, lodging, and transportation are included.
