Free and open to kids ages 10 and up, this event kicks off National Crime Prevention Month. Police officers from multiple agencies and up to 100 children will come together on the Thomas College campus for games, free lunch, positive interaction with law enforcement, and the ability to watch athletic events and tour the campus. This event will promote strong community relationships between youth and the law enforcement officers protecting them. By having a fun day of activities and adding the aspirational influence of exposure to Thomas College early in their lives, these kids can begin to think big and set big goals. The kids will benefit from this event not only from physical activity, and friendly interactions with local police, but also from a campus experience which will help them to envision themselves enrolled in college.
