Making plans for your child’s winter break? Thinking about those long days when school is out? Wondering how to avoid boredom and keep your child active, motivated, and happy? Looking for a unique program? Look no further than our Youth Fitness and Nutrition Camp for kids! The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer a Fitness and Nutrition camp to grades 3 – 6 during the holiday break. The camp will be offered from 7:45 a.m. to noon from December 27–29 and January 2–5, at the Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center (304 W. Bell Ave). Youth Fitness and Nutrition Camp is adventurous and fun, providing many challenging activities designed to promote self-confidence and exposure to a wide variety of fun sports, fitness training, healthy eating, nutrition programs, exciting educational field trips and much more! Registration for the Youth Fitness and Nutrition Camp is ongoing at the following locations during regular business hours: Parks and Recreation Administration Office, 1501 E.
