ORYA & Big Lake Staff Winter Retreat - Sisters, OR

Join young adults from the Pacific Northwest for a weekend of worship, relaxation and tons of time playing in the snow. This will be an unforgettable adventure at one of the most beautiful locations in the state of Oregon. You will leave encouraged, connected and ready to launch into 2018. Cost: $40 (Food & Lodging) Free to Big Lake Staff from 2015-2017. Lodging: Cabins Bathrooms: Group Meals: vegetarian (vegan option) Packing List: Twin bed sheet or blanket, sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothing, snow boots, snow clothing, bible, water bottle and toiletries. Snow Skiiing/boarding: Hoodoo Ski Resort is right next door to Big Lake Youth Camp. We will run an early trip to the main parking area for those interested in hitting the slopes. Everyone is on their own for skiing and snowboarding. Plan on bringing up your own equipment or arranging rentals from the resort. Snowcat Pick-Up Schedule: There will be two pick-up times from Ray Benson Parking Area on Friday night: 6pm & 9pm. You will need to be parked and ready to go 15 minutes before the scheduled pick up time. Remember that a parking pass is required for the parking area and can be picked up at a DMV, BiMart, and possibly Ace. Feel free to Google "Sno-park Passes Oregon" to find other options. Sunday Morning Drop-Off: Drop off times will be arranged with the group on Saturday night in preparation for Sunday departures.
