Based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare Directed by Carrie Haines, BFA • CETA Spring Break Camp: Monday April 9 – Friday, April 13 9:00AM–2:00PM (For actors grades 6-8. Everyone gets a part!) Final performance for friends & family on Saturday, April 14 ____________________________________________ The year is 2018 and The Duke and Hippolyta are planning their wedding. Meanwhile, a hot chick named Hermia is promised to rich kid, Demetrius but is secretly in love with the coolest guy in town, Lysander. Hermia’s BFF Helena loves Demetrius, but she’s going through a geeky phase. Deep in the woods, the king and queen of the fairies are arguing so they enlist the help of a trouble-making fairy named Puck. Throw in some actors and a few more fairies and you have one crazy farce. Come experience William Shakespeare’s classic play in a way you never expected. This version was adapted specifically for teen actors!
