Budding bakers -- start your ovens! This 3-day camp is designed to develop your youngster's baking skills with three half days of intensive, hands-on baking workshops! Day One: will focus on cupcake making. Students will learn how to bake and decorate cupcakes like a pro, using pastry bags and decorator piping tips. Students will also learn how to make decorator buttercream and how to decorate cupcakes with flair using their own hand-made chocolate decorations. Day Two: Students will learn how to make beautifully decorated cut out sugar cookie using royal icing. This hands-on workshop will take students from making and rolling out cookie dough to how to make and use royal icing and decorating their own cookies to take home. Students will learn numerous royal icing decorating techniques including outlining, flooding, tie dying, marbling, and more! Day Three: Students will learn to make French macarons using the Italian method. Students will also learn how to make assorted fillings to fill their French macaron shells and how to pipe fillings into the shells. Students will take home all of the items that they make in class each day. *Parents are not required to stay during class but will be required to sign a consent waiver in order for their child to attend.
