8th Grade Retreat - Tiger, GA

How do we weather the storms in our lives? When the waves come, and the winds pick up, will we be able to withstand what comes our way? Through the Storm is designed specifically for 8th-grade youth to help you understand the importance of having a firm foundation in Christ. You will learn that through a relationship with Jesus, in reading the Scriptures, and in acting upon the will of God that you will build an immovable foundation for your life. In doing so, when you face the storms that inevitably come in high school, you will not be washed away but rather stand firm in your faith and the truth. The retreat will be held at Life Teen Camp Covecrest in Tiger, GA. Please have your teen eat dinner before they are dropped off for the weekend. We will depart from SPC at 5:30 PM on Friday, March 16th and return on Sunday, March 18th in time to attend the 12:15 pm Mass (pick up at 1:15 pm after Mass). A minimum of 10 participants must be registered by the deadline, or the retreat will be cancelled.
