In our ninth year, NTA continues its tradition of offering comprehensive child and teen summer theatre camps. Introducing and engaging youth in all aspects of theatre arts through immersive instruction including, acting, lighting, sound, costuming, set construction, and directing is our objective. Our youth theatre camps offer meaningful and thought-provoking experiences that build memories that last a lifetime and encourage participants to further pursue theatre arts through volunteer-ism and formal public instruction. A musical for children, this bewitching dramatization of the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm has all the favorite characters: beautiful Snow White and her father, the good-hearted king; her stepmother, the wicked queen who likes to admire herself as she chants, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all;” the dwarfs and of course the gallant, handsome prince, and many more wonderful characters which help to bring this delightful fairy tale to life. Based on the story by A Brothers Grimm. Book and lyrics by Ken Pickering. Music by John Dawson. Presented by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing. This camp, for youth exiting 6th through 12th grades in the summer of 2018, will be held on July 9-22, 2018 with major role auditions and final registration on May 5. Earlene Rainey instructs with musical direction by Nancy Jackson Buckley. Camp details and an online registration form is available on our website.
