In this camp from Youth Digital, kids learn professional Java programming as they design and build their customized Minecraft server that they can share with friends. At the end of camp, kids walk away with a playable, shareable Minecraft server that they built from scratch. Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Kids will learn the basics of one of the most popular coding languages in the world as they modify real Java code to build their Minecraft server. During camp, kids will master introductory computer programming concepts including methods and parameters, if-then statements, and more. Theyll also learn to use a pro-level Java development tool to build their server. For this camp, every student must have a copy of Minecraft for PC or Mac (not Pocket Edition) and bring their login credentials to camp. Offered in partnership with Youth Digital 9194932642.0
