This is the first annual Maker Fest on Potrero Hill organized by PREFund in partnership with New School of San Francisco and will bring together the community from Daniel Webster Elementary, Starr King Elementary, New School SF and Live Oak School, who will each showcase a hands-on activity (or two!) at their booth. Other activities will be provided by 10-15 external organizations. Confirmed participants at this time include: Brightworks, Camp Brainy Bunch, Clayroom SF, Curious Jane Camp, Doodle, DragonFly Designs, iD Tech, littlebits / DIY.com, Nomad School, Peopleologie, Play-Well TEKnologies, Sirron Norris Studio, Steve and Kate’s, Synergy Summer and Wee Scotty Fashion Sewing. Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 each and required only for kids (parents accompany for free!). Proceeds cover event costs and benefit the host school.
