On May 6th, Launch Code After School is hosting a free family robotics workshop at the Wells Branch Library! At this free event, children and families can work together to learn to program a light-up, rolling spherical robot called Sphero! This is a fun opportunity for parents and kids to dip their toes into programming and robotics. As demand for programming and technology skills grows in today’s marketplace, there is a greater need for kids to be familiar with coding. Bring your kids along for an afternoon of pair programming. You and your kids will learn about some of the skills needed to become tomorrow’s leaders including coding languages and computer science concepts. Parents and children get to sit side-by-side, working together on a coding exercise and LEARN TO CODE A SPHERO! Please bring a smartphone or tablet device to work on.
