2019 NSCA Summer Camps: Science Camp | Art Camp | Algebra-Ready Camp

New Song Christian Academy is offering Summer Science Camp and Art Camp,  June 17-21 AND July 22-26, and Algebra-Ready Camp July 23-26! For Rising 4th through Rising 8th Graders: SCIENCE CAMP: 9am - 1pm ART CAMP: 1pm - 4pm COST: $199 per class (includes supplies) For Rising 8th + 9th Graders Only: JULY 23-26 ALGEBRA-READY CAMP: 1-3:30pm COST: $199 + workbook (approx $20) * STUDENTS STAYING FOR MORE THAN ONE CAMP WILL NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH FOR 12PM-1PM LUNCH BREAK. SCIENCE CAMP: Nine weeks of Science crammed into ONE WEEK with NO HOMEWORK & NO TESTS! This class with Mr. Brad Eaton will perform a wide variety of experiments, study current scientific events & discoveries, learn to overcome obstacles through teamwork, try out construction skills with group timed challenges, and look closer into God's creation using microscopes and dissections. ART CAMP: Mrs. Holly Kenitzer is offering individual and group projects that will allow your student to grow creatively through project-based art and also learn about new and exciting art mediums. ALGEBRA-READY CAMP (Rising 8th + 9th graders ONLY): Ms. Briana Yankie is offering an opportunity for students to brush up on their Algebra skills. This camp will provide a cumulative review of Middle School Math concepts and skills to help your student be Algebra-Ready! Through a mixture of group work, individual practice, and teaching instruction, your student can enter the school year with greater confidence and mathematical understanding.
