CADC Summer Camps Open House

Ladies and Gentleman Welcome to CADC's Summer Camp Open House.  Come join us and learn more about our camps, meet the counselors and experience what our camps have to offer.  This years camp theme is "A Few of Our Favorite Things"! Learn about our indoor recreational/academic camp designed for tweens and teens ages 10-15. Our camps are built around the fundamentals of inclusion making them appropriate for campers with diagnoses of Autism, ADD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and other. The best part is while we spend time having fun, CADC’s summer camps also provide skill-building activities to help campers with: coping skills, communication, teamwork, organization, transitioning, and self-esteem. Join us for snacks, activities, games, and prizes as you and your child learn about our camp.    This year's camps are inspired by Star Wars, Fortnite, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Anime, DIY shows and more!  Don't wait!  Space is limited!     FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? The camps are for teens and tweens ages 10 to 15. Parent/guardians are strongly encouraged to remain with their camper during the open house for safety! Is this camp appropriate for my teen? This is one of the most popular questions we receive from parents.  Our camps are designed to support campers with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and other diagnoses and learning challenges.  This means that the environment is suitable and safe for teens with these diagnoses.  However, the content and material are appropriate for all and inclusive.  We encourage all families to visit our open house to decide for themselves if the camps are suitable for their tween(s) or teen(s).  We are proud to say that we create and provide a truly inclusive environment for every teen to have a strong sense of belonging.    What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Our building has a large free parking lot adjacent to the building.  We are located 1 block away from the Libbie Mill library bus stop and 3 blocks away from the Richmond Pulse Willow Lawn bus stop.    How can I contact the organizer with any questions? For any questions, contact Moshe (pronounced Mo-Shay) Levi at [email protected] or 804-876-2115 ext. 2
