CSA STEP FUSION CONFERENCE & SHOWCASE!

Join us at CSA's annual "STEP FUSION™” Conference! A supporter of and of the infamous Midwest iSTEP Conference! This year, CSA has extended the invitation for any elementary, middle, high school, parents, and adults (7 years old and up) interested in learning more about the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN and HOW of STEPPING! Parents and coaches will have the opportunity to network, learn more about how Central Step Alliance Inc. ™supports and provides opportunities for youth and adults involved with stepping across the nation, and collaborate with other like-minded individuals who share the same interest and passion for the history, art, culture and love of "STEPPIN'!" Everyone in attendance is guaranteed to learn something new and bond with other youth, parents, adults, coaches and teams in the Midwest or beyond! This season, we've incorporated exciting interactive activities such as our "CSA Unity Shuffle™”, Afro Beat" workout session, legendary steppin’ guest speakers of S.T.O.M.P, HBCU information & activities, and workshops to get your STEP, Hip-Hop, and gumboot dancing skills on! Also, new and exciting this year is a Showcase and “CSA Unity Shuffle™ at the conclusion conference, and guess what! It’s open to your friends, family, and community! The "STEP FUSION SHOWCASE" entry fee is only $5.00 and all the proceeds of the conference showcase entry fees are going towards CSA scholarships to help the participating youth and teams of our 2019 STEP FUSION™ Conference, with their 2020 CSA Midwest competition or summer camp registration fees! Be sure to mark your calendars, because all community youth, adults and parent participants of this year’s STEP FUSION Conference are all invited back to perform on our mainstage during our CSA “SHOW UP & SHOW OUT™” Midwest Competition, at Northern Illinois University (NIU) on Saturday, February 29, 2020! No worries! We will keep in touch and have a scheduled rehearsal day to refresh your memory! You won’t want to miss this event! It’s unforgettable! FAQs  Do I need to register for this event other than here?  Yes, please use this Google form link to offiially register for the CSA "STEP FUSION" Conference: https://forms.gle/kzANC2forFdVmLN37 What time is Check-In the day of conference?  Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the "STEP FUSION" Conference begins at 8:30 AM!  Is there an age restriction or minimum age requirement?  Yes, the minimum age for participants is 2nd grade, or 7 years old. Do parents, coaches or spnonsors have to attend with their youth?  Yes, coaches are required to attend with their teams. Parents are not required to register and attend, however, we highly encourage parents to stay and participate with their child!  Conference Leaders will be available to to facilitiate our community youth during the conference.  What can I bring into the event? Please bring comfortable work out attire, shorts, leggings, and wear comfortable "non-marking" gym shoes. Lunch will be provided, but we ask that you bring a water bottle, snacks, and any miscellanous items that you will need throughout the day (ie. medications, inhaler, epi-pen, etc.).     Is there a participation waiver and photo release form that I or my youth needs to complete and sign upon prior to participating in  CSA's "STEP FUSION" Conference?  Yes, all participants are required to fill out a waiver and photo release form prior to particpating in the 2010 CSA STEP FUSION Conference. Waiver forms will be sent via email to coaches and sponsors for teams and to parents/guardians for our community youth, and adult participants.  Everyone is required to have a completed and signed waiver on file to particpate. CSA waiver and photo forms will be available at the event. However, only parents/guardians can complete/sign our youth waiver and photo release forms.  How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
