Moraine Valley's new Health, Fitness, and Recreation Center on campus just opened in March 2014. There is something for everyone at the HFRC. Moraine Valley Community College is building a brand new 113,360 square-foot Fitness and Recreation Center. The Center will include • 15,000 square feet of brand new, state of the art, cardio vascular and free weight fitness equipment • Synergy360 multi-purpose training element • 4-lane pool with a deep end and whirlpool • 3-court basketball gym • 1/8 mile indoor jogging track • Modern men’s, women’s, and family locker rooms • Steam rooms in each locker room • 4 studios dedicated for fitness, spin, dance, boxing, yoga and pilates classes • Café with seating (serving breakfast, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, and more) • Private consultation and assessment area • Pro Shop The Health, Fitness, and Recreation Center will offer memberships to students, faculty, and staff of Moraine Valley as well as to the community. The building is projected to open in Mid-February.
