YMCA Camp Cullen has served campers and families in the Houston area for more than 40 years and we are excited about what the future holds! We reopen for weekend and family camping in January 2013 and summer overnight camping in June. YMCA Camp Cullen's opening on January 18, 2013 caps a $16.5 million investment by the Y to create the premier overnight camp in the Houston area. New amenities include: • 24 new cabins with shaded porches, air conditioning and restrooms • New 18,000 sq. ft. dining hall and fireplace gathering area • New program sites Activities include: • Water Sports • Horseback Riding • Fishing and Mountain Biking • Riflery and Archery • Ropes Courses and Zip Line Nestled among the tall pines on 530 acres along the shores of Lake Livingston, Camp Cullen is located just 1 ½ hours north of Houston.
